Thank you for visiting the movement section of my webpage.
Movement is a huge part of my life. As I continue to evolve within my artistic career I've found that keeping my body and mind in shape is essential to achieving the goals that I set for myself. I went through several chapters in my fitness journey before arriving at the flow arts and non conventional training. I respect all forms of movement and the discipline that any individual must have in order to achieve desired results. At this moment of my life I'm deeply invested in movement practices that promote mobility, creativity and strength. My top three practices are Steel Mace Flow, Kettlebell Flow & Animal Flow. I connect with these practices like I connect with music. You see, in music we learn notes, technique, scales, melodies, harmony and songs -a lot of it is by imitation or transcription- until we're equipped to start playing around with all of these to compose our own pieces and find our voice. These three movement practices allow me to play with body movement just like I do with my sax. it's all the same to me. Movement heals me, it liberates me, it makes me stronger yet more vulnerable, it makes me a better musician and it keeps my body ready for the stress that a traveling artist must endure. I hope you feel inspired to incorporate movement into your life in whatever way serves you best. If you ever have any questions feel free to send me an email at email@example.com
